Greetings. I hope you had a nice break. I’m compiling recommendations from you, our loyal subscribers. We continue this week with your podcast and music recommendations (recent discoveries or all-time favorites, any genre… ALL welcome). We’ll have one more topic in the coming weeks, culminating in our December 21 “Surveying the Wreckage” edition of the newsletter, which will include all of your recommendations. I have not been listening to podcast as frequently as I did pre-pandemic, but I enjoyed Modern Love (based on a section In The New York Times), Ear Hustle (focuses on the life of individuals that are incarcerated currently or past in California’s San Quentin State Prison), and Dear Sugars (this podcast is not producing new episodes but I found the conversations to be insightful).
if you are a fan of reality tv and escaping with celebrity gossip I found Even the Rich to be a really fun pdocast for long drives. Also, Guru from wondery and The Dream (about multi-level marketing) were ones I couldn't stop listening to.
